When you Actually need me there!
My background has always been creative working in pr and theatre in London. Having moved to the country many years ago, I decided to put my creative and organisational flair to good use and ventured into the Wedding and Event Planning world.
The wedding world is one that is constantly evolving with new and innovative ideas appearing but sometimes simple is best! I have worked freelance in the planning world for the last 15 years which has included working at Castle Hill, Devon - home to the Earl and Countess of Arran, Bridwell Park - home to Lord Ivar Mountbatten, World Inspired Tents - the fabulous giant tipi company and Huntsham Court near Tiverton. Weddings have sometimes been intimate, sometimes frilly, sometimes complex, sometimes outdoors, sometimes indoors, sometimes festival style, sometimes more traditional; but always special and wonderful and a privilege to be a part of.
Events have included music festivals - notably Somersault Festival at Castle Hill, Russell Watson in concert and Castle Hill Car Festival. I am currently working with a Glastonbury glamping site for 2021 which will hopefully (!) take place after Covid cancellations. I have also worked with corporates assisting putting together conferences and team building events.

Whether you want someone to organise your wedding from beginning to end or whether you just want someone advising and supporting and there on the day, Actually Clare can be there!
Some couples want to do most of the organising themselves and just need advice and guiding through the process. Others want a planner with a hands on approach throughout the planning process.
Your wish is my command and I am happy to accommodate whatever planning process you want to follow.
